Skot is a new, Icelandic company, but the people behind it are very experienced in the
business. We are professionals working in advertising and television programming, in addition to net trolls who excel in making marketing material for the web.
The people of Skot all agree that the story has to be a good one, be it long or short.
Our job, and ultimate goal, is always to have the story successfully reach to the broadest audience.
says his fetish for project managing software is borderline uncomfortable. The rest of us are, however, very content with this fetish and thoroughly take advantage of
his organized manners. Obviously he is on top of all the latest tech stuff and takes on ÚTSENDINGASTJÓRN??? like it’s the easiest thing in the world. He produces advertisements, television shows and all kinds of events and is highly experienced in all this.
When he has a moment to spare, which happens occasionally, he can be found out in the nature. Just enjoying. And organizing.
is a director and a movie maker. He is insanely interested in documentaries, advertisements,
films, short films and practically just any films (but not dirty films. He really has no interest in them). He is the sweet guy in the house and never causes any disturbance. Except when in front of the editing computer. That’s where his madness bursts out.
Gunnar Páll Ólafsson
is the other half of the Samuel&Gunnar director team. Sammi says Gunni is probably not
the most punctual guy in the business, but on the other hand nobody has a better eye for timing. Gunni likes his beer strong and he has attended a beer school. The two fellows have worked together for sixteen years and have no intention of slowing it down.
is the oldest and the most grey-haired man in the house. He would like to point out that
he is also the classiest. Hlynur has been working on TV since the turn of the century and has been involved in nearly everything. Golf, news, golf, children’s television, golf, real estate programmes, talk shows, and golf. In addition to that, he was a pioneer
in online television during it’s first steps. He also has a MBA from Copenhagen Business School. It’s a pity, though, that no foreigner seems to be able to pronounce his name.
Inga Lind Karlsdóttir
has been working in media for 20 years, mostly as a reporter, show host and an emcee. She
has been neck-deep in both reality TV and documentary work, which she very much enjoys. She studied Icelandic in university and never, ever, makes spelling erors.
Samúel Bjarki Pétursson
is one half of the productive and multi rewarded commercial director team Samuel&Gunnar.
Sammi is upbeat all day long, but also highly focused and gladly takes on the most random tasks, be it here in Iceland or abroad. He puts emphasis on a healthy, nutritious diet but really doesn’t like to drink strong beer. We shall not judge him for that.
