Þura Stína

Þura Stína is both a producer and a director with an immense passion for advertising. Þura’s background is quite multi-layered as she holds a BA in Graphic Design from the Iceland Academy of the Arts and a MA in Visual Design and Integrated Marketing Communication from NABA in Milan. Þura worked as a designer at the Brandenburg advertising agency after graduation and has been involved in many advertisements and campaigns as a freelance Art Director. She is also the creative producer for the design conference DesignTalks and has worked for the last two years as an Experience Designer for the brand Nova. Her life has always revolved around music, and she has produced and directed numerous of music videos, for which she has received nominations for the Icelandic Music Awards an won Best video of the year at Hlustendaverðlaunin (People’s Choice Awards). Her latest project is the short film EIN (Alone) where she shows her multi-faceted skillset as she wrote the script, produced, set designed and directed the film. Fun fact: She also has a captains license and has only conquerred half of the world on a sailing yacht – yet to finish the other half. Aside from seeing new places and tackling new challenges, her main hobby is to work. She finds nothing more enjoyable than to work. No joke.
